Upgrading Question

Hello,
I'm new to the forum and relatively new to using Photoshop. I've been using PSE 4.0 for quite a while, and now I'm learning Photoshop 7.0, but I am curious about PSCS2. Can 7.0 be upgraded to CS2? And if so, is it worth the dollars spent to do it?

As long as PSE7 is registered in your name (or you can get the registration transferred to you) then you can upgrade it at the upgrade price.

I think that it is worth it as there have been major improvements made since PS7 ... but as CS3 is due out soon I think that I would be inclined to hang on until it is released and upgrade then :)

Thanks for answering! So, on another note, if I wait until CS3 is out, is THAT "upgradeable" from PS7? Or would I need to buy the stand alone?

Hi Gwen ...

You can upgrade from any version of Photoshop even ones going back beyond Photoshop 5 ...

So no problems upgrading yours when CS3 come out :)
