Hi all
For love nor money I cannot work out where to install them in PSE5.
Someone please put me out of my misery.
Thank you.

Hi David ...
Here you go :)
Installing Grant's Tool in PSE5. First make sure that the "Show hidden folders and files" option is turned on in Windows. Then create a Shortcut on the desk top to:
C: Documents and Settings>All Users>Application Data>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>5.0>Photo Creations>Special Effects>Photo Effects
To install an action just unzip the file and then drop the folder on the shortcut ... restart Elements and the action then shows up in Special Effects>Photo Effects.
Should work just fine :)

Hi Wendy
Yes, I am trying to but I don't really have an artistic imagination so it takes me a long time to come up with anything.
I've been away from this forum for a while as my darling pussy cat had to be put to sleep a couple of months ago and I still miss her like crazy. The following day we had a family funeral to go to and the next day we had Muppet cremated and her ashes brought home. Then I ran into some chest problems - I have asthma - and eventually managed to get bronchitis.
Right now I'm working on a layout of a long weekend break we had a fortnight ago.
I'm also thinking what to do with a kit I downloaded called Powder Puff which has lots of feminine things in it and I want to combine it with a [just a little bit] sexy picture of a girl from iStock. Thinking of doing something in just black and white with it.
Whilst I was at iStock another picture, this time of a girl outside a sleazy looking place, caught my eye and I'm thinking of combining this with a tut I have on creating neon signs. The Manhattan Transfer recording of Love for Sale is coming to mind here but I think the tut is going to take some working on as it's a bit on the advanced side for my current skills.
I'm gradually coming round to the idea of creating something special in memory of Muppet. I do a lot of thinking about this and gradually a theme is forming in my head.
But, as I said, I'm not artistically talented and so it takes me a long time.
Thank you for asking.
I'd be interested in how you go about getting ideas for scapping.

Hi David ...
Oh I am so sorry to hear about Muppet ... you really must miss her. We have an adorable cat called Tansy and I know that I would miss her such a lot.
I like the sound of your creative idea ... could work really well. Do let us see it when you have finished it.
I'm never really sure where my creative ideas some from ... usually it stems from just one thing and then I am off making a kit to go with it. I really must use my kits more than one :) :) ... Something that I did find helps is doing Grant's Challenge. Just one week to come up with something different gets you used to just trying things out and being a little more adventurous ..
Wendy :)
