Has anyone else had issues with installing PHOTOSHOP CS2 on VISTA OS?

Of course Sony keeps up with the lastest (I don't know about the greatest tho..ha) and I have absolutely tried EVERYTHING to install PS9 when I do it installs ok (well I think) BUT the HELP CENTER does NOT populate??

Anyone can HELP I much appreciate your time!

YOu might want to ask on the Adobe forums (http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.3bbf2764/); there's quite a bit going on about CS2 (compatibility issues with Vista).

Personally, I don't know--I don't have a Vista machine yet, but have been told that CS3 which IS out--has very few issues with Vista. Boy, I couldn't live without the help files either! Sorry!

I loaded PSCS2 on my new computer with Vista and it went perfectly. No problems whatsoever! If you have any questions about it, please feel free to ask me.

I have CS 3 on my desktop, but just purchased a new laptop and need to install it there.

My laptop has Vista...my CS 3 program was an upgrade version.

Does anyone know if I need to first install CS 2 before I install CS 3? I've been researching various sites to include Adobe and am unable to locate any information on the topic. (am glad to hear at least that Vista took CS 2, I was worried about that)

Thank you.

No you don’t have to have the CS2 installed on your machine before you install CS3. When you install vs 3, it doesn’t go out and look for your serial number, and it doesn’t know that it was an upgrade. Adobe just sends you the CS3 version, and that program doesn’t know that you are upgrading from one version to the next. You just have to activate the program before you can use it, and the first time that you open the program it will bring up a screen that will take you through the activation steps.

Have fun with the new program.
