I'm really trying to perfect my stitching. I know how to do a basic stitch by using the pen tool and brush but what I want is to add a realistic texture and then some entrance and exit holes. I'm using PSCS2 and love the pen tool but I'm just not happy with my stitching at this point. And I can't get my holes to line up at all.
Thanks in advance

I was hoping someone else would have the answer to this since I'm new to photoshop and haven't done any stitches yet. I went to photoshop hoping I could this this on curves but I haven't gotten there yet, still get use to everything being in a different place. To get your holes positioned evenly, I can help. Adjust your brush spacing to the hole spacing you want. Click at the top, using the guides to keep it streight, sift and click where you want the wholes to end. They should be straight and evenly spaced. You can use a guide to keep it straight. I usually use the rulers and try to put the cursor on an even mark to make it easier to align. You can always use the move tool to move it in place as long as it is on it's own layer.

Hopefully someone can help with the rest so I can learn too.

I do it with a brush and control the length of the "stitch" and the space between the stitches-spacing from the tool's options dialog box, then shift+click to keep it in a straight line. Consider making ONE stitch and then defining brush from that ===that way you have your straight line, and you can build in the tiny "holes" at the beginning and end of each one.
