PhotoShopElements 3.0 to 5.0

I have had 3.0 for a while and have built 2 catalogs. One for personal and one for the CoastGuardAuxiliary. I have yet to do a digital page :( -- I have now installed 5.0. My question is ... Is there a way to move my 2 catalogs into the 5.0 version easily?

I don't know (I don't use Organizer's Catalogs) Did you post this question on the Organizer thread? Hopefully one of those helpers will be able to tell you how to do it.

Hi.

First, in PSE 3.0, you will want to do a File->Catalog->Recover and a Reconnect Missing Files in each catalog. Then, close down PSE 3.0.

Now, start PSE 5.0. If one of your catalogs is My Catalog.psa, then when you start PSE 5.0, it will automatically convert your catalog. Sometimes it looks like it hangs at 33% or 66%, but it hasn't. You may even have to leave it overnight.

Now, to open the other catalog (or if you don't have a My Catalog.psa), just do a File->Catalog->Open and PSE 5.0 will again automatically convert your catalog. Again, it may look like it hangs at 33% or 66%, but it hasn't.

Thanks - It worked wonderfully! I was a little worried on doing it "wrong" and losing my pictures off in computer "never-never to see them again land"!
