Help!! (internal error:data not found)

I have been loading my scrapbooking supplies in to my new external hard drive and organizing them in the organizer on a new laptop for two months. then all of a sudden I get an "The ODBC data source reported the following error (internal error: data not found)" It will open in editor but will not go into organizer. Everything even the catalogue is on the external hard dive but I did try and move a file to the laptop to see if it was the connection with the hard drive but that file would not open from the laptop file either.

Any help would be greatly Appreciated

If you can open the Organizer, open it and your catalog and try a File->Catalog->Recover.

If you can't open the Organizer, hit the ctrl key as you start the organizer. It will ask you if you want to create a new catalog, or recover - choose recover.

Glad you're set. You may want to try doing a Recover once a day or so - keeps the catalog happy.
