I scrap and print my Layouts 8x10... therefore I have to crop 12x12 papers. I then have to make selections of outside edges, such as stitching along and edge or a grunge edge...then I have to add it back to the 8x10. I know that when I crop I use the space bar to position the crop marks...just wondered if they're is an easier way to capture exactly what you want without doing the selections? Can you crop from outside edges in or inside center out to capture exactly what you want??? I use PSE.

You're doing it right to when you are going from a large 12x12 square to your 8x10. Sometimes you can "command" the crop tool to go 8x10 quite nicely, but if your page has fancy edges or embellishments that's the best way to do it. I have also "cut the middle" out of a 12 x12 to modify it--dragging the halves to the new 8x10---, but it often doesn't work very well. So long and short is--I don't know of any way to do what you want to do with the crop tool.

You can crop from outside edges - start at the upper left, and then drag across for your 8x10 - at least that way you'd only have to copy grunge or stitching on two sides.

Basically, that's what I'm doing is just cropping then making selections from the two sides....I hadn't thought of pulling the center...yeah, that's exactly what I have to be care of...being sure I have the outside edges the same
