HELP...I'm afraid I really messed up!

This is what I have: PSE 5.0, external hard drive, laptop and a PC. I have TONS of kits tagged. I just recently updated from album 2.0 to PSE 5.0. My catalog opened just fine....except...I have a lot of question marks. I told you what my equipment is because I have tagged kits from various places. Some files are pointing to my external HD, some are pointing to my laptop, while still others are trying to find the file on my PC. I know this for sure because I look at the properties and see the path. I have gone through and reconnected numerous files. I want all of the files to look for the item on my external hard drive. All my files are stored on my external, Organizer just isn't being told to look there.

I hope this makes sense to someone. My question is: Is there a quicker way to make Organizer look for the files all on the external even though the path name of specific files are not my external? I let it do the reconnect all files.

Hope you can get some answers on the Organizer forum thread--those moderators really know how to make Organizer work well (and I don't) So sorry!

You can select the watch folder in Organizer by clicking on File, Watch Folders and then click on Add and then go to wherever you want it to look for your photos.

Have you done the File->Get Photos->From Files and Folders on your external? That should search your external HD and find any images.
