Parchment Brush?

I seem to remember fooling with and looking at some brushes and finding a "parchment scroll"?? How do I describe it? Parchment paper with a curve at top and slight roll at bottom? It was a very large brush! I can not find it again. Anyone know what I mean and where it is available?

If I am understanding you search correctly, I think mine came from PET in the subscriber DL section.

The one I use came from panos fx but it is not a brush!

I use the one from www.panosfx.com too. Suppose you could use Panos action to make a scroll and then make a brush from that.

Or you might check Adobe Exchange.

Wow- looks like a great site. Does anyone know if the free actions that are listed there work in Elements or is it just the full flown Photoshop? Would like to try one before I buy.

Hi ...

If you look over at the left hand side you will see a menu ... one of the options is PS Elements. Click on that and then scroll down .. all the actions in there work in PSE4 & PSE5 (both Mac & Windows) and most of them work in PSE3 too :)

Just be certain that you are downloading the stuff for PSE!

Another site with a lot of interesting actions for PSE is http://www.graficalicus.com again make sure you are in the PSE section. I have his add-o-matic and it sure makes it easy to add stuff to PSE5.

there is a scroll frame in the custom shapes maybe you could use that?

There's also a "diploma type" custom shape that you could make a brush out of. Good luck and let us know what you find. Be VERY careful about installing actions that are meant for Photoshop into Elements. Some work just fine, and some (esp third party ones) can mess you up bigtime! Do the steps yourself for the same results!

The parchment scroll brush is on the PET site in the downloads section called Frame Brushes 1 and Frame Brushes 2.
