moving files

So, I've attached an EHD to store my pics on to free up some space. I remember that someone said to be sure and relocate the files through the organizer so that it knows where to look. Exactly how do I do that on PSE6? Is that the "covert catalog window" by any chance?

I don't have PSE 6.0, but I did download the helpfile from Adobe's site:

Step by step from the manual:

1 In the Photo Browser, select one or more items you want to move.
2 Choose File > Move.
3 Click Browse in the Move Selected Items dialog box. Then navigate to locate and select the folder into which you want to move the selected items.
4 If you want to remove items from your list of files to move, select the files under Items To Move and click the "-" Delete button . (Clicking the Delete button does not remove the files from your hard disk, only from your current
selection.)
5 If you want to add items to your list of files To Move, click the "+" Add button and use the Add Photos dialog box to add photos. Then click Done.
6 Click OK.

I would suggest making the folders on your EHD that you want to move to first, and then using the File->Move method above, doing a Folder at a time.

I would really love an answer to this question too. Currently my pix are in Kodak Easy Share and I want to move them to an external hard drive also. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Maybe someone else around here uses Kodak Easy Share. Does it have any documentation?
