For those considering upgrading to PSE 6.0 (my opinion only):
the selection tool is NICE! It's what I've wanted for quite a while. Quite lovely, really.
The darker background is taking a lot to get used to. I thought it'd be a breeze for me but I'm still having issues seeing the icons and figuring out what is selected on the tools, etc.
I had some problems with the organizer at first. I had to uninstall and reinstall 6.0 to get it to work for me. It'd freeze up from the start - or - it wouldn't find my pictures (it found 104 of my 1,000+ pics) at first. After the re-install it's working fine.
Overall, the selection tool has me very happy. It's already saving me time in selecting out my objects. There are some things to get used to though (see above).
I just thought I'd provide my two cents. I received PSE 6.0 as an early b-day present, otherwise I don't know if I would have upgraded so quickly.
