HELP!!! Anybody still up??

Now I've caused a real mess!

I thought I would make a second catalog to put all my scrapbooking supplies into, to separate from my photos in Organizer.

I opened the Catalog and said "new" and named it "Scrapbook supplies". I must have done it wrong because now I only have one catalog: "Scrapbook supplies" but no pictures and everything in my files and folders are gone - including word documents!

Nothing is left.

What do I do????

Oh no Stacy!

There is an obscure bug in PSE (at least in 3, 4 or 5) with the organizer. If you name the name of the catalog the same as a directory name, and try to save the catalog in the same folder, the Organizer creates a folder of that same name, wiping out what was there. (Believe me, it has been reported several times).

So, if you had something like \My Pictures\Scrapbooking Supplies and then made a Catalog named Scrapbooking Supplies and then tried to save it in your My Pictures directory, it will wipe out the Scrapbooking Supplies directory.

Look in your Recycle bin and see if anything is in there.
