Is anyone having trouble with the password to log on to premier link?

I'm having issues too. Can't get it to work. Also all my links seem to be from last month.

Mine too. I thought it was just something I was doing wrong.

I finally got the password to work by first deleting my cookies

Still didn't work for me. I'll keep trying.

I still can't get the password to work either -- emptying cookies didn't help either.

Mine doesn't work either, and I don't want to have to delete cookies every time I want to get in. I LIKE having cookies...makes getting onto other sites easier.

Shar,

If you use Firefox, you can go into Tools->Options click on Privacy and Show Cookies and delete just the Scrapper's Guide ones.

For Internet Explorer (or Exploder), go here (assuming Windows XP):

C:\Documents and Settings\[your windows login]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

and see if you can find a File (or many files) named Cookie:[your windows login]@scrappersguide.com

and delete just those and restart Exporer.

Trish, I got in as far as Temporary Internet Files, but there was nothing named Cookie not to mention my windows login@scrapperguide.com.

This is annoying, but I don't go into the Premier area very often. I wonder if it has something to do, once again, with the fact that my name is small...that I'm not set up correctly.

Hmm. That's odd. In my folder (and I hardly ever use Explorer), there are tons of files named:

Cookie:trish@[some web address]

Not sure where your cookies are. Can you do a search?

Or, go to Tools->Internet Options and then on the General tab, click on the Settings... buttons. Then on the dialog that appears, click on View Files and see what's there.

I did a search and all I came up with were the cookie recipes in my cookbook! Jan (I think) talked me thru this a few weeks ago. I can't find that conversation either, nor can I find where I wrote down her instructions. Oh...I just got a notice that Jan is replying to this thread. Maybe she will have the answer. In any case, it is bothersome to have to keep doing this, especially when I like having cookies for other sites. Oh well.

Jan, I can get in to read, and even respond to postings, but I still can't start a new thread. I don't need to any more, so it's not a pressing issue. Today was the first time I'd ever WANTED to start a thread there, but I just posted my question in Scrapper to Scrapper.
Thanks,
Shar

Shar,

I think, generally, only Linda and Jan (and maybe any of us moderators) can start a new thread in the Premier section.

Hi Vesta ...

Yes that is correct ... you do have to be careful as it is case sensitive :)

Please make sure you're typing it in correctly, lower case, and without the quotation marks. Also try clearing your cookies first. If you still can't get in, email me directly and we'll fill out a tech support request.
