I feel so clueless right now and everything here is as clear as mud. I signed up for the premier membership and am now looking for the March Thread. Is there any talking out there on the new March kit? :)

Just feeling a bit lonely here. I kinda feel like I just walked in and I cant find anyone - Hellllllooooooooo ????? :o Can someone point me in the right direction? Ugh !!!! I sound pathetic. :o Please help me find my way about.

Thank you for listening - Do ya'll watch videos and not really chat much since you pretty much know what your doing?

Sorry for so many questions. I have PSE 6. Pre ordered the new CD and waiting for its arrival......now what? I have other places I can ask those newbie baby questions and use the video's here untill my CD arrives.

I am sure someone can clear up my confusion -

Thank you, thank you.

Donna

Welcome Donna! I don't think the March premier issue is up yet - so there isn't a thread for it yet, but there will be one in the Premier section of this forum when it is.

Welcome, Donna. I haven't seen the March Premier issue yet either, and compared to many forums I've been on, this one is not chatty for the sake of chattiness! People usually stick to business (questions...needing help).

Where I'd start, if I were you, is choosing one of the forums, such as the Welcome, PSE, or Scrapper to Scrapper forums, and just read through old postings. You'll find a ton of information on those sites. Go up to the top of this page and click "Forums" in the green line. Then scroll down the page until you find one of the forums that is of special interest. This should keep you going until you are up and running with Linda's CD.

If you have specific questions, just ask. There are a lot of helpful people here who are anxious to help you.

Another thing you can do is click on "Gallery" above, and go to any of the galleries of posted layouts for inspiration.

I came to ScrappersGuide as a total newbie to both digi-scrapping and PSE5 just 4 months ago. It was also only the 3rd or 4th "forum" I'd been active on, and most certainly the least chatty. I lurked for a few days, then got brave enough to join in. 90% of my postings have been because of problems I've had or questions, but once in awhile I've even contributed. What really got me invested was posting my first layout.

Hang in here. You've landed in a Wonderful Place.

Thank you for your replies. To hear your not such a super chatty group is a sweet relief. I can hardly keep up with some of the forums out there!!:)

I so appreciate the clear precise directions given. That is so perfect for me. A little warm fuzzy hug and point me in the direction I need is what I needed. I did read the post from FL (if I remember correctly) and saw something similar. Should have read that one !!!!!

Anywho, thank you for your timely and kind responses. I have been in the gallery and that is a huge reason I decided to jump in here. There is alot of talent in this group.

thanks so much,

Donna

Glad you're feeling better. I know how it is...sorta like walking in to a party late, and not knowing a soul there! BTW, I love Colorado. My DD and her family lived near Colorado Springs for awhile, and our visits there are among the best memories of my life.

Donna-you're in the right place. Once you start getting the monthly and weekly newsletters and see what Linda can do you will be very happy. Also if you look around in the store, there are back issues that you can purchase if you are interested, and also there are some free downloads in the Premier log -in area. Welcome and you will feel at home in no time

Hey SharLamb,

I live just North of the Springs and South of the Southern Suburbs. I joke that I cant move away since if I dont see the mountians I cant tell which direction is which. When I lived in CA for a couple yrs I never could figure out N vs S.

I was confused since I just downloaded the Feb. Pkg (I signed up on the last day of the month) so I was thinking Feb was March. So, now I can look forward to a new set. :)

Go to bed ladies - dont stay up till the wee hrs of the morning. You will be dragging just to get through tomorrow. That was me last night - my bad. I am off to bed - I need a double dose of beauty sleep tonight (to get rid of the bags under my eyes) so I will be asking those ?'s you've heard 1000 times. ;)

Thank you again,

Donna

I'm so pleased I'm not the only one a bit confused!! I joined premier last month, and I've had hours of fun with the kit. I was wondering if the march kit comes exactly on the 1st of the month.... I thought my pc might be broken or something lol. ok, so i must just be patient and not be greedy for my new kit??? :)

Sarah, I think our number is legion (those anxious for each new month's Premier). My guess is that Linda has been swamped trying to get the new PSE6 DVD done, and we will have to practice patients. We just came off a 29-day month too! Luckily March has 31!

"patience" (see posting above!)...see we need spell-check. Oh that's right, it wouldn't have picked up the error since patient is also a correct word...just not in the above context. :)

Welcome Donna!

I live in CO - out near Kansas! Just kidding... I'm in Aurora, but sometimes it feels like Kansas...

This really is a great site. I finally became a premier member. I have been here for a long time without being a member. Just became a member a couple of days ago (and ordered both CD's) and I am sad that I didn't do it before. I can't believe what I have been missing! Great stuff and videos and kits monthly. Well I just downloaded all my February stuff and looking forward to watching and reading everything for February. I just can't wait for March etc......:)

Trish,

Kansas is not so bad. :) I grew up in the Plains of Nebraska, its pretty wide open up there but maybe not so desolate. Now I hope no one takes offence its just that every time I have driven through KS it has seemed to take forever. I love seeing the wheat swaying and fields of corn stalks. Sounds like a page in the future.

Aurora has really grown, and hey, who knows Aurora may hit that KS state line some time. We are in Castle Rock. Did I say that earlier? There are quite a few of Aurora transplants out here.

May I ask you ladies a question please??? OK, I will assume there was a resounding yes SOOOOOO.

When I signed up to the Premier Group and purchased my advance copy of the tutorial there were a bunch of incentives or extras added. Yeah !!!!! :D With me still ?????: rolleyes:

I am confused about the $ 10 savings. At first I thought I would get 2 sets of tutorials (one basic and the other PSE 6) then after I ordered and wasn't walked through or offered the second CD with the discount I thought I must have read it wrong.

So now I am wondering if I was correct at the beginning and just messed up during the ordering process. I have gone back and forth if the PS3 or basic cd is something I should have. I am greener than the grass at the neighborhood Egg Hunt. :D That is my goofy humor, sorry if it was bad.

Can someone answer this one for me? If I should have the beginner cd??? I would want it (I think) but if the new tutorial is really all I need to get going in PSE 6 then great. I am not concerned just confused. You'll see more of the confused look from me in the future. lol

Clear as mud??? Perfect. My work is done.

To everyone who has chatted on this thread. I say "Thank You". This is the first of any of my threads in cyberland that has had so much ACTION. For me, a shy green newbie this is like everyone at the party coming over to say "hello". Silly, but true. :) So a humble thank you is here for you.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Blessings and Hugs,

Donna

I didn't use spell check witch is usually my best bud. I would have to download one from IE. I have a new notebook with Vista. Can you say "what? Vista has given you 4 months of -------???" Lets just say Vista has given me more gray hairs than my 3 kids put together. lol SO. I am sorry for my errors.
