I've recently found Kuler (http://kuler.adobe.com) and am excited about the possibilities. I'm wondering what the best way to save the swatches to my computer would be. I have all my brushes and styles saved in folders in My Documents and then can load/delete them into PSCS3 as needed-is that what most folks do or is there a better way?
Thanks!
Deb

Deb,

Except for things that I use a lot, I keep all my additional brushes, styles etc. etc. outside of Photoshop, and certainly I do the same thing with colour swatches.

Hi Deb ..

I too keep everything extra that I add into CS3, including swatches, in a series of folders I created ... that way not only does it speed up the time CS3 takes to open but it also makes it much easier if you have to do a reinstall :)

Thanks Wendy and Robyn-that's what I was hoping but most everything I've read suggested intalling directly into program files. I tried it both ways and it worked either way. I'm just more comfortable with them in "my documents"-I hate fooling around with the original program files.

Ditto. I do the same thing as the others above. But I've never used Kuler. I'll have to check it out. Do they have clear instructions on how to use it?

I keep them all in separate folders also. I've downloaded tons of Kuler swatches and also made my own over the past year or so. I only recently used the feature regarding picking the colors off of your photo that you upload. Kind of fun trying that.

I don't know how many of you get the magazine Digital Scrapbooking, not in the current issue, but the previous one, they had a nice article on Kuler.

The program is very easy to use. You'll pick it right up. Actually, the first time you play with it, you'll have so much fun you won't be able to stop. Really helps when you are trying to figure out what colors to use in a LO.

You need to sign in with your Adobe ID if you have one.

Digital Scrapbooking is where I read about it, too. I really like the feature to pick colors to match our photo, very cool!
