Text on Path Problem

I'm trying to create text in a circle. I've done it before and had no problems. However, now, when I type the text the letters are angled randomly, not perpendicular to my circle. I'm sure it's some setting somewhere, but I have no idea where. I've tried resetting all my tools, but that didn't help. Any ideas?

I didn't actually find the answer, but found a way around the problem. I deleted my preferences file by holding ctl-alt-shift down as photoshop came up and answered yes when it asked about deleting my preferences file.

It works fine now, but I'd still be interested if anyone has seen this behavior before.

Hi Teresa ...

The prefs file in Photoshop is prone to becoming corrupt and when it does strange things happen within Photoshop ... could be that this was just one of them :)
