Diamond & Glint Brushes

So, I signed up for Premier and I'd say that was just about the best thing I've done this year! Love it! A couple of days ago I made the diamond brushes and even used them on the Christmas letter I did and if I must say so myself it turned out great! Now, today I made the glint brushes and was so excited about using them to but I went to open my Default brushes and none, not even the Diamond ones, were there. Gone...can't see them anywhere...where did they go? :(
TIA for any help! I'd really rather not start all over...

Did you save them? In PSE, you have to save them using the Preset Manager before you close Elements...

No I didn't save them...that wasn't mentioned in the video so naturally I wouldn't do it unless I was told! LOL! I was at the brushes patterns etc. and I found the Large Diamond Brush I made (but not the small ones) in the Pattern! When I used it yesterday it had been in the Default Brush area. Something is strange! So if one needs to 'save' them what is the 'path' I need to take to get that done...I suppose too I'll need to start all over, right?

Hi ...

When you make a brush and define it ... it just makes a temporary save into the brush set that you have active. That means that when you change brush sets the brush you just made is lost.

If you want to do a permanent save then you have to go into the preset manager and save the brush into its own set.

I see it :o Thanks for that lead rae vogl!! I didn't get that far 'cuz I just wanted to play first! LOL! This time when I make them...I WILL SAVE them too! Appreciate the heads up on that.

phew..glad I read this I forgot about saving them in the preset...I wanted to play first too!
