Need help organizing files

Hi all,

I've been away from Scrapper's Guide and Photoshop for a while, & have forgotten what to do with my "stuff" from Scrapper's Guide.

I download each month's goodies, and have each month stored in a separate directory. But how do I "tell" PSE (7) where these backgrounds, clip-art, etc., are?

I thought it was in C:/All Users/application data/Adobe/photoshop/7/photo creations/backgrounds, but when I copy the Scrapper's Guide files to this file, I still can't find it in PSE 7. (Elements is closed when I do this transferring).

Hi Judy ..

You don't install them in Elements ... you just keep them as on your PC as you would do photographs and then add them to your scrapbook pages when you want to :)

Sorry to be dumb - but if I'm wanting to use a piece of Scrapper's Guide paper, how do I "tell" Elements where to find it?

Just go to File>Open and navigate to the spot where you have it stored. I keep my scrapping stuff on my external hard drive in a file called Scrapper's Guide Goodies! :)

Thank you Linda - that did the trick.

Unfortunately, I "moved" a lot of my SG files to the "backgrounds" folder in Elements. I'll have to try to put them back into my SG directories now.
