How to cut out an embelishment on a page that contain multiples?

Could someone please tell me how to cut out an embelishment on a page that contain multiples? For instance, pages that contain buttons, tags, ribbons etc. for embelishments and there are several on a page.

Use your marquee tool to select the area that you want and then copy and paste on your layout.

If the embellishments are situated in odd positions, you can use the Lasso Tool to draw around the desired embellishment. Then copy and paste to your layout.

I usually just use the lasso tool myself and copy and paste. Pretty easy.
