How to load patterns (.pat) files

I have some files, don't even rememeber where I downloaded them. I found them while trying to clean up my computer files. They are patterns (.pat) for woods, textiles, etc. I use PSE 6. How would I load these? Could someone please help?

Go to Edit->Preset Manger.

On the left side for Preset Type, chose "Patterns". Then click "Load" on the right hand side so you can load them.

Thanks, Trish. I, loaded them. Now how do I bring them up so I can use them on a layout? Soory, never used patterns before.
