Hi! I upgraded from PSE 6.0 to 7.0 and whenever I change from the initial basic brush, which has a soft edge, to a hard-edged brush, I lose the option to change the spacing. (The line is there, but there isn't a drag or type option.) I want to make a scalloped edge, but I can't. I reset my tools and restarted the program, but this didn't change anything. I clicked on the link to "additional brush settings" and it states that I should have the spacing option. I'm frustrated with this problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Barbara.
Try this... select your soft brush, then open the brush options, and slide the harness slider over to the far right, instead of selecting a hard brush, then play with your spacing.
If that doesn't work, try resetting preferences: press and hold ctrl-alt-shift (Mac: cmd-opt-shift) while you start the editor. You will get a dialog asking if you want to delete the settings file - you do.

Thanks, Troush for your suggestions. I reset my preferences twice with the same problem. Then, I worked with several different brush sets and found that the option was back. I don't know what actually worked, but it works now. Thank you!
