Please help! Easy Solutuion to New File Problem???

I went to start a new scrapbook page in PSE 6 today and cannot figure out why my new page is so TEENY TINY on the screen. It is at 100%, so zooming in doesn't help-it makes it way too grainy. There must be something that was clicked to making this happen? I ended the program, came back and I still have the problem. Any easy solutions? Thank you!!!

What is your PPI setting when you crate your blank page?

Try resetting preferences: press and hold ctrl-alt-shift as you start the editor. You will get a dialog asking if you want to delete the settings file - you do.

I tried what you said (haven't been on this site during the holidays) and I still have a problem. Any other suggestions?

Hi Wendy ..

Try this File>New> Blank File then make sure that the settings are Width 12" Height 12" Resolution 300 pixels/inch.

That should now be OK ...

Make sure the measurements you set are in inches and not in pixels.

I needed to switch the "pixels" to "inches" in the setting preferences.
Now I'm wondering if I saved scrapbook pages (using templates) in the wrong setting preferences. Do you know how I can check???

Hi Wendy,
To check the sizes of your PSD files, just open one and click on Image > Resize > Image Size. Then you'll see the dialog box that will tell you what size your file is.
