Can someone please direct me to the tutorial where Linda explains how to use quick pages? I'm new and learning and can't seem to find her explanation anywhere. Thank you!

Jill,

If there is a "hole" for the picture, you just drag your photo below the quick page layer (using the layers pallet). If there is a gray area (or no holes) just position your pictures where ever you like on the layout.

There is no "hole." There are several places provided for pictures with transparent backgrounds and white borders. The quick page is a png file (Linda's Travel Quick Page_1) and so if I drag a picture onto the page, it is not the correct size, and doesn't fit neatly under the quick page layer (if that makes sense.) Either I'm really dense, or I'm not explaining this very well! Thanks for your help.

Those "transparent areas" are the "holes."

Do you have your layers pallet open? (Go to Windows->Layers to turn on the layers pallet.)

Make sure your image is below the quick page.

Select the move tool, select your picture, and then grab a corner and drag in to resize it. Or press ctrl-t and then you can resize it.

Drag you photo onto a layer beneath the PNG file. Then resize the photo to fit the opening (transparent area) on the Quick Page.

Thanks to both of you! I figured it out and your explanations were helpful.
