Loading photos from organizer to edit

Hello!
hope someone can help me. When I attempt to get photos into the full edit from PSE7 organizer, I get the message that PSE7 has encountered a problem and must shut down. Then I start over and the same thing happens. Adobe must have a few error messages from my computer! Anyone know what's wrong?

Have you *ever* been able to run the Editor? If so, then you may need to reset preferences: press and hold ctrl-alt-shift and launch the editor. You will get a dialog that asks if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

If you have NEVER been able to run the Editor: When you installed PSE 7, did you disable your anti-virus software? (Even if you have been able to run the editor, but you did not disable your anti-virus software, you can have problems.)

If not:

Make sure you are logged in as an administrator and

1. Disable anti-virus software.
2. Uninstall PSE 7.
3. Reboot.
4. Disable anti-virus software.
5. Install PSE 7.

You will NOT lose your catalogs and such when you reinstall.

And how much RAM do you have? That might be part of the problem.

Thanks so much to all who answered. I finally called adobe and learned there was something wrong in the adobe files. The tech was very nice and certainly solved the problem.
