Hi
Can anyone please tell me which month's lesson did we get the Custom Shadow action from Linda? I remember it was just for pse 7 and I only had version 5 at the time. Now I have 7 and would like to install it.
thank you
Lisa

I would like to know the same thing. I think she did 3 videos at that time. They were What's new in Photoshop Elements 7, or something like that.

Go here (http://www.scrappersguide.com/info_el7.html) and scroll down to Video #3. Click on the link to the Custom Shadows tutorial in that paragraph.

Enjoy!

Many thanks, I too now have the shadow.
Can I ask another question, I have managed to transfer most of my actions, styles etc over to pse7 from pse5 (albeit many hours work!!), however, I am not sure about the patterns. I have the SG Glitter dust in the pse5 patterns folder and have copy and pasted into the pse7 folder as I did with the brushes, but I cant find them when I open the Editor. Patterns are not something I use alot, so can someone remind me where I find them in the Editor please as I may not be looking in the right place.
Thank you
Lisa

Hi Lisa ....

You can access patterns in several ways ...

Try Layer>New Fill Layer>Pattern ... or the paint bucket set to pattern.

Hi Wendy
thanks for that, I have just noticed a big problem, when I open my brushes I cant seem to use the slider bar at the side, or scroll up and down using the arrows? This is really annoying as I cant even get to the default brushes. Every time I click on the scroll bar or up/down arrows the whole box closes?
Any ideas?
