Quick Page Help

I need help on the quick pages. I know this is easy and I have asked it before, but when you put the pictures in the quick pages sometimes they overlap. Please someone tell me how to correct this and I promise I will take the instructions and guard them with my life.

I am so surprised no one else ask this question.

There may be a better way, but I use my eraser to carefully remove the overlapping pieces. Just be sure you've selected the correct layer before you start erasing.

That was not how I was taught the first time, BUT it did do what I was needing to do and I am on my way making my page!

I usually use the rectangle marquee tool (below the hand) and make a selection around what I want to keep (making sure I'm on the right layer). Then I choose select inverse and press delete. The part I don't want will delete.
