Transferring photos Organizer to 'My Mac"

Do I transfer photo's from My Picture folder? Or from the organizer? (I have a EHD to download for transfer). In the organizer they are all tagged and the whole 9 yards, I would think in iphoto they would have to be reorganized right? This is all a little scary bc I've heard some not so good stories! But as always there's excellent help here.

The Mac version of PSE does NOT have an organizer. It has Bridge. You can "Write Tags to File" on your Windows machine (however, RAW files and .png files will not have the information written, as they don't support tags), and I think Bridge can read them.

I think you are suppose to use iPhoto. You might want to post in the Mac forum here, as other's have switched from PC to Mac and can give you some tips.
