OK I have asked this question before so here goes. I am trouble again with my photo overlay. I can merge the photo and overlay together on a blank page and it seems to work OK. But when I go to move it to an album it seems show the edges of the photo and i loose the look of the overlay after I merged the two. I have also tried merging them together working on an album page and nothing works. They don't seem to merge together at all. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you so much.

Berly,
I'm not sure I understand what type of overlay you are using but if you try flattening your photo and saving it under a new name as a .jpg file, after you have applied the overlay, and you should be able to put it on an album page without a problem.

Hi Berly ...
If you save it as a jpg then it automatically creates a flattened file :)
However ... I"m not really sure what you mean by:
When I go to move it to an album it seems show the edges of the photo and I loose the look of the overlay after I merged the two. Can you just explain what you are doing step by step please :)

Are you using an "overlay" or are you trying to clip (merge) a photo to a shape (template-like a rectangle, circle, etc.)? Post what you're doing so we can look at it.

Try clipping the overlay to the photo first by pressing Alt (Mac: Opt) and clicking between the two layers. Then merge the layers together by pressing Ctrl E (Mac: Cmd E).
If that doesn't work, we probably don't understand exactly what you're working with. You'll need to describe the color of the overlay, the type of overlay (are they edges?), and every step you try.
