error message help

What does this mean??? I'm playing around with a digi layout and every time I go back to the Organizer to get a new element, I get this message. I even tried just doing a File>Open and grabbing the element directly from my ehd but I'm still getting this. Any ideas??

I guess while I'm asking about problems, I've got another one. When I put my cursor over a tool or anything in the Effects Palette, the name doesn't come up like it used to. Do you know how to fix that too??

I'm going to guess that your preference file has gotten corrupted. Exit the editor. Press and hold ctrl-alt-shift and restart the editor. Keep holding the keys until you get a dialog that asks if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

thanks Trish! I finally shut it down and re-opened it with everything I might want to use on my page and it let me do that. I'll reset it the way you said after I get done. :)
