HELP!!! Feathering an oval edge PE7

Why oh why do I never have time to learn :eek: I have just lost my mother-in-law and want to do a memory card for her. I have not had time to get into my lessons and have forgotten most all that I had learned :confused:

Anyway ... I have fixed my image, I created an oval and moved it to another file but cannot seem to "feather" the edges ... any thoughts :confused:

You need to feather before you move. Make your selection using the Oval marquee, then right click and choose "Feather" or, I think, up under the "Select" menu item, there is a feather option there.

Thank you for your help ... it worked!!! Also, thank you for the kind words. It was a blessing at this point and she was 92 years young, so she had a very long life. Alzheimer's is a horrid thing and it will be wonderful if they find a cure.
