Is there a way to eliminate the bright sun reflecting on a face? I have a photo of several people. There is a window in the background with bright light coming in which also shines off the side of the face of a person in the photo. Is there a video which shows how to do this. I have all of Linda's training CDs but don't know where to look. Thanks.

Try this tutorial (http://scrappersguide.com/tip_sg_08-08-04el.html).

I will give this a try. Unfortunately, the part of the face that needs to be "fixed" adjoins the light from the window so there is not a clear cut edge and the problem area includes eyes, nose, etc. The lighting problem is similar to the boy's hat in this tutorial. What does the spot tool do? I tried that also but it didn't seem to help anything.

I would try to make the best selection I could of the area involved and then try the adjust brightness and contrast command. I don't have PSE in this laptop to try it, but I think this might work.
