Hi -

Awhile back I went through every picture had tagged them with the different collections I'd like to sort things in. I did this on our main PC. We have a network at home and all of our pictures are stored on this network; no pictures are stored on any personal computers.

When I went to my laptop to pull up some pictures, none of the pictures I tagged could be pulled up with the names that I used to tag them. I entered all the same tags on my laptop that I had used on the PC; I thought all I'd have to do was enter those tags on the laptop and they'd cross reference each other since it's on a network.

So, is there a way to do this? I don't use one computer for my pics/scrapbook stuff and really don't want to have to go through and tag everything twice for the PC and the laptop - I barely have my act together to do it once! :)

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Kerry

It depends on the catalog. Are you sharing the catalog? And the only way sharing the catalog will work is if the network drive is referenced the same on both computers.

Thanks for replying. I'm going to have to check the network stuff with my husband. I'm really bad at all that stuff. I just handle the Photoshop side of computers. :) But, I will DEFINITELY check it out!!!! Thanks for something to go on though!
