Hi Everyone, I have a question for all of you Wacom Graphire & PSE users. I found a Wacom Graphire 4 with PSE3 for 84.99 at Circuit City (http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=134457&c=1). I will be getting PSE5. Now the question... If I purchase the Wacom with PSE3 and then get the upgrade for PSE5, is that a good deal? Monetarily it's a $35 savings. I really want a Wacom Graphire, but is this particular one a good investment or is there a reason it's on sale???? Please let me know what you think! TY -c-

a good idea when you buy online is always read the customer review, it look like a good deal, the price is very good and is an small one, the pse3 is just and add bonus you really don't need it since you have pse5.

Have fun with your tablet,

I just bought one at BestBuy... They had one that had either been opened, returned ect. (But they still honor the warranty) I got it for $62.10, it had been $104.00. I snapped it right up at that price. It works fine. Evernote, Elements3, and two or three other programs came with it. I already had Elements4. So, I'm just continuing with E4 for now, and I'm thinking if you brought this you wouldn't really need to buy E5? And that would save you some money and justify you buying the wacom?
Also, I would like some tips on using the wacom tablet with my scrappers guide layouts, does anyone have any tips, tricks ect. I bought this, but really don't know much about the tablet, just really like being able to use the pencil and write personal emails, but I guess you can do so much more with it while scrapbooking?

I, too, just bought a WACOM at BestBuy and PSE 5 at Sam's Club. Both installed and now I have to learn how to use them. I had PSE 3 and have worked with it but still need more practice. Also looking for help on using the tablet.

Hi Trish, I just posted a thread - PSE 5.0 is $79.83 at Walmart.com (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5230549).

Do Sam's and Walmart have the $20 rebate included? If so, it's a great price. If not, then elsewhere, anything under $99 is a good price 'cause it's $79 after the rebate.

Wacom Graphire

What is that? Who makes it? I've never heard of it.

I just bought PSE5 at Staples. They were not out on the shelf yet, but I asked. I had seen on the Adobe website that Staples has the rebate for Adobe ($20.00) but it expires 10/31. Someone on this forum stated BestBuy had PSE5 for $69.99. Staples was $89.99. They matched the BestBuy price, so I got it for $69.99 and will submit for $20.00 refund. I am sure that BestBuy price is only good this week, though. Looking forward to installing the new program sometime this weekend.

Hi cats4jan, Wacom (http://www.wacom.com/) makes a pen table to use with your pc so you can draw or edit things right on your screen. I haven't bought one yet but after my PSE5 purchase, it's next on my list. Here's the Wacom website. They've got all the info you'd ever want to know, plus they've got really nice and knowledgeable customer service folks who answer questions without the high press to buy. THT -c-

Here's a link to Wacom: http://www.wacom.com/index2.cfm
If you click on "Which Tablet" there are a few questions to answer and it will identify the "best" tablet for you, however, you are free to choose what you like. Also, they offer refurbs for about half the price if you're interested. The Intuos Tour maybe of interest to some. This is what I purchased: (circuit city) Intuos3 4x5 with pen/mouse $199 with $50 rebate, includes Elem4, Corel Painter3, Color Effects Pro, Wacom Brushes 2. (Pen & mouse are battery free). They have a 4x6 for wide screens also.
