PSE7 Editor keeps closing

This doesn't happen all the time, but it happened 4 or 5 times yesterday:

When I go from the Organizer to Full Edit, I get an error message saying the Editor has stopped working and has to close. Very frustrating! I have a new Toshiba laptop running Windows Vista with Plenty of hard drive space AND RAM, so can't figure out what the problem is. Any ideas?

Is this something that has just started hapening or has it been happening since you first installed Elements ??

Oh, this one is frustrating - you may need the Licensing Patch (I had to rebuild my desktop this weekend, and when I ran PSE 7 - well, it would just exit as soon as I opened it - but, installed the licensing patch, and it works). Now the Licencing Patch instructions say it is for Creative Suite 3/4, but just ignore it. You have to follow a couple of links to get to the actual download file. So, go here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/401/kb401528.html follow the links for the licensing patch, and then go for it.

No, I installed PSE7 as soon as I got the new laptop, which was about a month ago, but just this week noticed the problem with the Editor shutting down.

This happened to me also. I reinstalled PSE7 and ever since it has been working perfectly.
