To make snowflakes
1 Add a new layer
2 Select the size 5 soft brush then click on the more options on the far right of the tool bar
and change the spacing to 500 percent. White as your color.
3 Randomly paint snow all over this layer by dragging your brush.
4 Change your blend mode to dissolve and reduce opacity to 50 percent
5 Duplicate this layer and flip the layer horizontally ( Image /Rotate/Flip layer horizontal. You can also flip your different layers 90 degrees right our any setting you like.
You can add as many new layers as necessary to get your snowflakes just right.
You can also change the opacity on each layer to different percentages .
Just experiment with different settings. :)
