I get lots of ideas from gift shops. When we were visiting Linda and Charlie in Oregon a couple of years ago we spent some time at their favorite hideaway, The Sylvia Beach Hotel. They have a stunning little gift shop on the ground floor and it is filled with beautiful cards, books and all sorts of inspirational knickknacks. I saw the bookmark card there with a flower on it and thought how lovely it would be if you had a personalized photo at the top of the bookmark. So this is one of the places where my creative inspiration comes from - strolling through gift shops and looking at what other people have created.
