Really like the way you have used the paint sploshes on this. Cool the way they anchor that photo and I like the way the one on the left with the fishing net leads you into the layout. nice work.
Sally, i would RUN, not walk, if I came across that fish! YIKES! This is a lovely keepsake of your dad. I think I'll use it for my newsletter header next week! It will be a great inspiration for us all.
Your father is indeed enjoying himself as they vacation in North Carolina during the sixties. That is indeed a huge catch and any fisherman would be delighted to be in his place. Very nice use of the elemental tutorial with your choice of elements and one way direction.
