Ok...
I have been doing my research on printers and yes I would love to get a 500.00 printer but since I am just starting I really don't want to spend that much on a printer just yet. So I am looking at 2 printers a HP and a Epson. I looked at the specs. for both and I am trying to figure out what I am really looking for when buying a printer? I know that for the most part it is all in what the person printing wants to do with the printer but I just thought that I would get your opinions since I am VERY new to this. I was also wondering how often on average you need to change ink? I know it depends on the size of the paper and what the page looks like...but I mean can you get a few pages out of a cartridge or just one? The Epson has a higher resolution than the HP and the Epson also has the High Def. ink cartridges and the HP has a lower resolution and doesn't have the High Def. ink. But the HP can print 12x12 pages. I am just not sure what to do so if you can give me some advice that would be great. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can print more than just a few pages from the cartridges. I personally like having each color in a separate cartridge - that way when you run out of yellow, you only have to repace the yellow. The Epson ink is really good longevity wise.
