I’m just starting out using PSE5 and I would like to know how to use the organizer. When I download pictures/kits I need to know how to organize them, and also how do I import them from the organizer to the editor, when I’m working on a layout.
Does anybody know where I can find a good tutorial on learning how to use the organizer for downloading kits & my pictures and then working from there to make my scrapbook pages? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Linda's CD for PSE 5.0 is a great start. Everyone's method for organizing their kits is different.
You don't "Import" into the editor. To "Import" into the organizer do a File->Get Photos->From Folders and Files. Then you can tag them (background, staples, brads, ribbons, fasteners, stamps, word art, chipboard). To use something from a kit in the editor, you can right click in the organizer and "Open in Editor" or just drag it to the editor or just do a File->Open in the editor. Each thing will open in its own document. Make sure you are in tile or cascade mode. In the upper right hand corner you will see a little button with 4 squares - that's tile mode - click on it. Then you can use your Move tool to drag stuff to your layout.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Trish for your help, I'm not familiar with how to tag in the organizer. I don't have any kits downloaded into the organizer, because I don't know how to tag them. Where on Linda's video, can I learn how to use the organizer. I do appreciate your help. Thanks again!!

Sorry, my mistake. She doesn't cover the organizer in the 5.0 training video series.
A good site for learning about the organizer is here.
Basically, you do a File->Get Photos->From Files and Folders, navigate to your directory and click on "Get Photos". Then, on the right side of the organizer screen you can create a Category called Scrapbooking, and then create tags for each type of scrapbooking item you have (ie, Backgrounds, tags, ribbons, fasteners, stamps, flowers, etc.). Read the help files for creating tags, categories and sub-categories - it's too long to go into here. I usually try to find books from the library. Barbara Brundage's The Missing Manual for Photoshop Elements is excellent.
