I have just moved and I signed up to virgin media broadband and turns out there’s a lot many problems inside; like it not even opening our firm’s web design company website or taking over 3 minutes … leave alone the rest . so any broadband I get BT with charge me £125 to connect the phone line, money I just don’t have. I’m looking for a company that will give me a phone line and broadband without going through BT, possible?

Hi ...
I am a bit out of date on this one .. but I think that the only options available in the UK are Cable, Mobile and BT Landline.
Cable ... its only it some areas
Mobile ... I think that maybe what you had with Virgin
the ones that use landlines all have to come through BT as thats the way the network is set up.
Try phoning BT as they sometimes will do the reconnection at a reduced rate
