I am pre-ordered and waiting for the end of March for the release of PSE for Mac. I am trying to prepare for this and be sure I do not loose any brush sets I have down loaded from Scrappers Guide or other places. Right now I am putting a copy of them on a CD.
Is it true that you loose all extra shapes, brushes etc. when you upgrade?
I also am a little confused with the latest brushes video when Linda talks about going to the preset manager and loading the set or set of brushes you want to use, mine are all in the original list. Is this a change from PSE 4 to PSE 6?
This will do for now and thank you for any help. Janet

Hi ..
First thing is when you install the new version it won't overwrite your existing version ... you will end up with both of them on your computer.
In preparation I would start a new folder for each type Brushes, Styles etc and copy the ones you have added into those folders. That way everything will be in one place when you come to reinstall them.
As far as loading brushes via the preset manager .. that is just another way of loading brushes and it means that you don't actually have to install them in Elements ... they can just be in a folder somewhere on your computer.
Its not new for PSE6 you actually can do this in all versions of Elements
