While working on a photo (ie. cropping, moving, or transforming a photo), the outline can keep jumping all the way to the edge of the photo, and it can be quite frustrating. In this weeks email tip, it was suggested to deselect the Snap feature in the View Menu to solve the problem. I have discovered an additional method which works quite nicely.
Just hold down the Control Key in Photoshop (on a Mac) while moving the outline. It temporarily deselects the Snap feature, thereby allowing you to make pinpoint accurate selections without the outline snapping to where you don't want it to go.
