Digital Scrapbooking in Easy Steps by John Slater $12
    (it is an oversized paperback)

This is the book I bought to learn digital scrapbooking as a means to learn Photoshop Elements. It's generic in the way it tells you to use PSE (or any other similar software), but it's easily understandable as both a digital scrapbooking book and a primer for learning PSE.

Although it was published in 2005 (and I thought it was out of print so I stopped recommending it) - it's relevancy remains.

I agree! The Scott Kelby book for Photoshop Elements is a terrific reference and I have learned sooooo much from him. After all, without a great photo how can you make a great scrapbook? And I love Scrapper's Guide for all my tutorials for scrapping!!!

    Hi Ande,
If you mean the Premier password, you'll find it at the bottom of the Premier page... same place every month.

#1 - Linda, #2 - Scott Kelby, #3 - Photoshop Elements (version #) The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage. That is least expensive on Amazon. I use this like a dictionary especially when I need to look something up. Maybe because it was written by a woman, but the index lists things logically (or at least for my brain) so I can find what I am looking for. At one time or another I've bought most of the other books and had difficulty locating the information I was seeking.

Barbara is an excellent author and she does write thing in a clear and logical way. Her books are more reference manuals

Bonnie, you're right about Barbara's books! They are very clear and concise. I use them like an encyclopedia... quick reference, knowing I can get right to the point!

Scott kelby has always been my favorite until I found this site. His books are not only filled with a ton of information on pse but he is a very funny writer so his books are easy to read. I have sticky note page makers all over mine.
