I have been using Elements 4.0 for years. Now I want to get CS3 but I also want to keep the 4.0 installed too. Will it be a problem to have both??

No problem at all to keep both on your computer. I have elements 4 and 6 plus Photoshop CS2 and CS3.

No, not at all. I had Elements 2, PSP 9,MC Picture It 9 and CS 2 and CS 3. Running XP. Some people keep Elements and CS * installed because they like doing some things in Elements and some things in CS * and some do so they can help others when others have questions. I've cleaned house now and don't have everything installed. I never used another program after I got CS2.
If you've not gotten into having your own folders for brushes, fonts, actions, styles, etc.....you might want to start though. HAVE FUN WITH YOUR NEW PROGRAM. You'll love it.
