I've always been disappointed with print copies I've made at home. When done commercially, the results have been much better.
After our old printer finally quit, we purchased a new one. I was hopeful that print copies would be much better especially when I learned that I would be able to do borderless prints.
Yesterday I printed my first LO (using the print dialog in PSE) and was so disappointed by the color and the fact that the print had its usual white border. I should have read the manual first!! In the end I had to download a small app that was included with the startup CD for my new printer. I then printed another LO using the new app and was really excited to see the LO with beautiful colors and no border!![]()
Even though there is an additional step involved in the printing process, I can now proceed with a project I'm planning for a family reunion this December. I just had to share the Happy Ending with someone because I can't share with family until later.

Glad all turned out fine. Keeping secrets is hard-know what you are talking about. Sounds like a great project.
Printing can be frustrating. My problems aren't at home, but when I send stuff out. Ya just never know what you get back sometimes.
Have fun.
