Hope I'm not duplicating a question...
How do you have PSE 8 open with the Toolbar as one row not two? There is plenty of height on my monitor and I don't need two rows... I would rather not have to click the little arrows to make it a single row every time I open the program.

Hi ...
I have mine set as one row.
I changed it to one row and it seems to have stuck as that ... maybe the Mac and Windows versions are different ??

Hmmm. Maybe it's a preference that isn't getting sticky. Try this: Find the PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe file (it's under C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop Elements/8.0/ I think), RIGHT-CLICK on it and choose "Run as Administrator." Set your tool bar the way you like it. Maybe even open a photo or layout and do a little editing and then exit. Then try opening it again just normally and see if the single-column thing stuck.
I think it is like the Save for Web preferences - in order for the "jpeg" setting to be sticky, you have to Run as Administrator one time and do a Save for Web.

I believe if you just double click on the top of the Toolbar it will toggle between one row and two rows.
