I just discovered this little help in PSE 8 (don't know if it was in earlier versions or in CS): When you select the eraser tool, a little box appears on the tool bar (?) across the top. It is "Mode." If you click the down arrow, it will give you the option of erasing with a square "block." There are just times when you need a square for erasing, so I have always gone to the brushes, and chosen a square one. Now, I discover, I needn't have done that. I'm almost looking forward to erasing something now!!!![]()

It's funny how you bump into these things isn't it? Good to know. I rarely use the eraser tool because I use masks so much. Hopefully when I do use it, I'll remember it! I know I've learned more than I remember. Fun, fun, fun.
