I've threaded 'bout this on another forum but would like your thoughts. Alas my "c" drive filled up. I wanted to move my photos to an external powered drive without messing up the catalog/picture relationship. I tried the move command within the organizer and thought I could move the folders by dragging. I was not successful. I then selected the pics within the folder and using the move command created a new folder on the "F" drive. This worked but is sooooo slow when you have 382 folders and 18,672 pics to move. I talked to adobe India and they basically confirmed that you had to move the pics not the folders those had to be created. I have done a backup/restore on an old/new computer but that was "C" to"C". Is there a faster way of doing this. Alas I can not do a backup/restore now (to move the rest of the files) as there are files on both drives. Any suggestions?
