I like to print my own pages and am thinking of going to a 12 x 12 page. I'd love to have anyone's input. Thanks.

You can't go wrong with Epson. Check them out online and get some pricing. Don't forget to factor in the cost of oversized paper, and the ink you'll need.
And also remember you can have your layouts printed on 12x12 by sending them to Costco, which is very affordable and the quality is very good, too!

RE: wide format printer
Is that what the majority of scrappers do - get the pages printed? Do you upload the pictures to an online site or put them on a disc and hand deliver? Has anyone done a cost comparison? I am going to have to do some research. Thank you for the info.

Hi Grammy
Just use the Search function here on the Forum and search the word Costco. You'll find some posts where people talk about their Costco printing experience.Jan Walker

Check into Persnickety Prints. They are cheaper than Costco and I think they are awesome. You upload your pages, they print them and mail them to you in about 3 days. I've been extremely satisfied with all my pages from them and they often run specials too.

Thanks Loretta and Jan, I will do some checking. I'm not sure which way to go or just stay with the 81/2 x 11 that I have been doing. It offers some challenges when making a LO and getting it to look good.

You're welcome, Grammy...
Have you ever considered working in 8x8? You can print it yourself, square is easier to work with than rectangle when it comes to design, and you can probably keep your current printer.
Just a thought!
Oh, and 8x8 books fit more easily on bookshelves than 12x12....

I own a Canon i9950 wide format printer and love it. It takes 8 separate ink tanks. Have had for about 6 years now and it prints my digi LO's very well. Probably these days though getting them printed or made into a Photo Book would be cheaper than the ink and price of the printer.
If I don't do 12 inch LO's I prefer the A4 landscape mode rather than the portrait mode. Things seem to fit into the area much better because of the width. Much the same as a 12 in but less height. And with that size much easier for albums and book shelves etc.

I have done some research and think I will stay with the 8.5x11 size. I have lots of templates saved, I am used to it, my Cannon i960 does a great job, plus, the folks at Digital Scrapper are offering this size! What a great thing this is for me and all who use this size! Love it! Thank you!
