Well I have used several PhotoElements to Scrap with but PhotoElements 9 leaves me very puzzled. It doesn't act right even on simple basic steps. I have a brand new computer that is Windows 7 and 64 bit so I don't if that has something to do with it or not.
But this is what it does. When you have your scrap page up and you go to grab the bounding box to resize an element or
paper to put on your page it jumps over in the gray area.
And sometimes it is impossible to even find it. Text will even jump off the page. Also if you are using a brush it will brush on
some area you are not even brushing on. This is truly a mystery to me because like I said I have used Elements for my pages and never had as much trouble as I am having now.
and I don't understand because sometimes it works perfect and other times it is impossible to work with. Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem with PhotoElements 9. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

that sounds very agitating when you are trying to get some digi work done & the program is acting up. Hopefully someone will have some suggestions for you.

I have experienced the same thing. I also have used several versions of PSE so it's not a new program for me; also using Windows 7. Sometimes I find I just have to close everything out and start again. That helps part of the time, but it doesn't completely fix the problem. Other times I can work for days and not have any issues. I would love to know if there is a fix for this.

Hmmm. I don't have this problem, but I'm only Win 7, 32 bit. My guess would be some kind of mouse driver issue. But I haven't a clue. Have you posted over at the Adobe Support Forums? That's the best place to get technical difficulties like this addressed.

Could be a 64-bit issue if you're using that. Try right-clicking on the PSE icon when you open the program and select Run As Administrator, and see if that makes a difference.
If not, do contact Adobe and see if they can troubleshoot it for you.Jan Walker
